But to our surprise he was in a great mood, smiled and was such a good boy!! So when we got home I starting looking at pictures from last Christmas... wow i cant believe how much he has changed in a year! He looks like he is going to explode hes so chunky! :) So i just thought i would share a few.

Snow fest

Saturday was snow fest. Its an Lakeland annual event..they bring in a huge mound of snow for the kids to play on. Theres also tons of booths, and blow up toys, food and Santa. Since we had all just seen real snow a few weeks ago we decided not to wait in the THREE HOUR line to play in it for two minutes!! There were just so many people more than i had ever remember there being, you had to wait in line for everything. Anyway the kids had a good time.. Cohen really enjoyed playing in the balls.

Could have been a cute picture.... oh well it was worth a try!

Surgery

Just wanted to update everyone on how Eric was doing. For everyone that didn't know Eric had his tonsilles taken out and his septum fixed last Thursday night. He wasn't nervous really at all..i was much more nervous than he was!! The surgery went really well, however i think he realizes now its a little more of a painful recovery than he had expected! He's doing well just really sore and the pain meds are making him really sleepy so hes been doing alot of that.
Eric waiting for them to take him back to the OR.... he didn't look quite as happy coming out! :(

Missouri trip

I'm finally posting our trip to Missouri! I've started it a few times and something always took my attention away from finishing it...so anyway here it is. We had a really great time, we were able to see everyone and got to experience a little fall weather and some winter weather with snow :) all in the same week.

Here we are on the plane...ha ha Cohen was alittle sleepy! We had a really late flight.

"OK so where are we going now?"
We first drove down to Springfield to visit with some family there. Cohen got to meet and spend some time with his very sweet great grandma Iva!

It was a perfect fall day and Cohen got to go play in the leaves for the first time in great grandma Iva' yard.

We had about a five hour drive from Springfield to Albany and Cohen slept 4 of the 5 hours! It was getting colder and colder when we were leaving Springfield and this is what it looked like when we got to Albany...snow everywhere!!

We spent Thanksgiving at Ernie and Nonie's home. It was delicious and we had a lot of fun visiting with everyone.

More fun playing in the snow!! Sledding for the first time... Cohen thought this was so much fun. A few days later after the snow had melted he went out to the sled and sat on it in the grass.. waiting for it to slide down the hill!

Kinda dark but..Kathy's house all pretty and decorated for Christmas.

The night of the Albany parade. It was sooo cold that night but Cohen was a good lil' trooper and enjoyed watching all five of the floats go by!! Aunt Gail came to see us that night.

They had a live nativity seen down town. Cohen really liked the little donkey..isn't he so cute!?
We visited the big hunting lodge that Kathy works at, it was really prettyand the lodge was super nice. They raise the deer there on the ranch then turn them loose so there where deer everywhere. They even had a male and female lion and tiger. This is in the game room. They had all kinds for animals in there. Cohen enjoyed petting all the dead animals...he even gave the zebra head a hug! It was pretty sad!
Just some more pictures at grandmas house.....

Playing with the last little bit of snow :(
Grandma and Cohen

Some pictures with family....

Emmy and Cohen really loved playing with cats Sammy and Harley!

Thank you to everyone that helped make our trip so special!!!
