Christmas 2008

I'm sure all of you have given up on me ever posting anything ever again..since it has been almost 2 months!! I think I will add blogging every week to my long list of new years resolutions :) Anyway... I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas. We had a wonderful one and a great time spending time with family and friends.. we are so blessed. Here are some Christmas pictures to enjoy :)

Halloween 2008

Hope everyone had a happy Halloween! Cohen had a TON of fun this year dressing up. I have to say hes was probably the cutest monkey I've ever seen:) we were wondering if he was going to be scared trick or treating but nope.. he was so brave and cute. He would ring the doorbell and say "treat" and hold out his bucket like such a big boy! We practiced saying tick or treat all week but he preferred just to say treat.. maybe he thought we were asking him a question! Well here are some pictures of our fun Halloween!

Today Cohen had his first official hair cut! Since his hair first started growing it has always grown longer in the back, so Trent's girlfriend trimmed it alittle off the back once. He was SO good for Kenzi and he thought he was pretty cool...well not so much this time. He hated every second of it, but he was still and it didn't take but a few minutes. Now he enjoys showing everyone his "cut cut". I obviously didn't get any pics during the hair cut, but here are some from the pumpkin patch we go to each year. We hadn't planned on going today, but while we were out running with my friend we passed by the pumpkin patch, so we decided to get some pictures of the boys. We will have to go back and let Cohen pick out a pumpkin to take home since we weren't prepared this time!

Vegas and New York trips and grandma and papa Les visit

Well.. since i have put off posting for so long I'm just going to cram everything into this one :) So we have been pretty busy around here the past few weeks! Eric and I went to Las Vegas on his company trip and had a great time. We stayed at the Bellagio it was grand to say the least! This was my first time to Vegas and if you have never been you need to there is nothing like it. Well here are a few pictures from our trip...

The Weekend after we got back from Vegas i Left with my mom to go visit my brother Trent in New York City. I was excited to see him but sad to have to leave Cohen again :( But he had some good daddy time and was happy to stay with Mamom while Eric was at work. We had a great time with Trent and are very proud of him. Hes loves the city and has got a great internship with a design company and is doing well in school. Mom and I were pretty impressed how well he could navigate around the city... us on the other hand..well we are just not city girls :) Mom took most of the pictures on her camera but i got a few.

Trent had been looking for a small couch or love seat to go in his studio apartment so we found this one on sale at a pretty cool thrift store. Just waiting for the cab to get there to pick us and the couch up.

Two days after i got back from NY Eric's mom and her husband Les came down for a visit. We were so glad to see them and were glad Cohen could spend some time getting to know Grandma and Papa Les. He was very excited and didn't take long to warm up to them especially because Kathy brought Eric's tractors that he played with when he was little down to give them to Cohen and he LOVED that! :) Thanks Kathy and Less we had a great time visiting hope to see you soon :)
