Easter 2008

Happy Easter! We hope everyone had a wonderful day, we sure did. The day started out a little rocky, Cohen woke up with a low grade fever and it was yucky and rainy out. I think hes cutting his bottom molars so i gave him some motrin and he was feeling good so we were able to go to the late service at church. We just took him in with us he was so tired and slept most of the service. After church it was sunny and turned into a beautiful day. We went over to my parents to have a big lunch and hunt some easter eggs! The kids had a allot of fun and Cohen really started to get the hang of it.

This was pretty funny most of his eggs had candy in them but i guess the "easter bunny" forgot to fill this one!

1st baseball game

Saturday Cohen went to his first baseball game! Daddy wasn't able to come :( Eric's friend was in town and they already had plans when Tenille told me she had gotten some tickets from her work. They were great seats perfect for the boys 1st row by 3rd base.. they could see everything. They were both really good and had a great time watching and pretending to hit the ball! It was really windy and cold so we left when the sun went behind the stadium. Here's a few from the game....I couldn't get him to leave his hat on. He usually likes to wear one except when you want him too!

2008 little everglades steeplechase

This was our third year (Cohen's 2nd) going to the little everglades steeplechase. Its a huge event that they have every March out on the little everglades ranch way out in the country and its beautiful! I didn't get any pictures of the horses but its just like a horse race only with jumps . It really exciting to watch and they have lots of stuff in the infield to do and eat. Cohen really loved the petting zoo and the pony rides. They also had jack Russell dog races and agility competitions to watch. We had a really fun day, it was pretty chilly in the morning but it turned out to be a gorgeous day!

Florida Strawberry Festival

Wednesday Mamom took everyone to the Strawberry festival while Uncle Jim was in town. We had lots of fun and Cohen had his first taste of strawberry shortcake and his first rides!

Recent fun

Last night we went to see the Harlem Globetrotters. Cohen loves to watch basket ball on TV (he is memorized with anything that has a "bawl") so we thought he would really have fun watching it. He is getting some new teeth and they had been bothering him yesterday so he wasn't feeling all that great. So he mostly just sat there with his fingers in his mouth staring. But he perked up after awhile and wanted to go run around and get the "bawls" Poor little guy i hope those teeth come in soon :(

Cohen and his buddy Breckin... Tenille and I took the boys to a kids circus and got to ride an elephant... yikes scary! He was little taller than Cody pony!
