preschool Christmas program

Here are a few pics and a video clip of Cohen at his Christmas program at school. The school goes up to 12th grade so they had a really cute program the preschoolers started it off and Cohen's class sang one song. I was really interested to see what he would be like since he only goes two days a week and every time i asked him what song they were singing he said he didn't know! He didn't sing a whole lot but he such was cute seemed to really enjoy hamming it up on stage!! :)

Happy Halloween 2009

We had a very happy Halloween we hope everyone else did also! It had been in the high 80's the week of Halloween so we decided to wait to carve our pumpkin the day of so it wouldn't rot. Cohen had a great time digging out all the "guts" and picking the seeds out. He also discovered he likes roasted pumpkin seeds and said they tasted like popcorn to him.

We went over to my parents house for an early dinner and got an earlier start to trick or treating this year. Eric drove his truck and we all rode in the back since the houses are so spread out. The kids loved that and we all had a blast.

Here's my brave little knight! Cohen is really into knights theses days. He has a backyardigan knight movie that he loves. I bought him a knight costume earlier but the arm er was very hard and not comfy so we made this at the last minute and he wore my brothers 15+ year old boots! It was pretty home made looking but it worked and he loved it:)

3rd b-day!

Ok so i started this post a couple months ago and am just now getting around to finishing it...ugh! anyways Cohen had an awesome pirate 3rd birthday party with lots of friends family and FUN!! and best of all we were able to have it at our new home this year. We cant believe how fast our little man is growing up :( 3 is a super fun age wish we could keep him this way forever!

Preschool is going great! Cohen loves it and askes pretty much every morning if its preschool day. :)

1st day of preschool

Tuesday was Cohen's first day of preschool! Hes going just a couple mornings a week and he has been super excited about it since we went and toured a few weeks back. Here he is all decked out for his first day...





I cant believe hes a big preschooler now! Thought i was going to cry dropping him off :(

Well he didn't have the best first day ever to say the least! He was very excited and brave when we first went in his room but got upset when we left (which i was expecting.) They have cameras in all the rooms so we watched for awhile before we left. He seemed to settle right down and started playing with all the new toys. Sooo when i picked him up at noon i was sighing him out at the office before i went back to get him and the principle told me that Cohen's teacher brought him to the office because he had hit her...UGH!! not what i wanted to hear!! So i went back to get him and talk to his teacher. she said oh i was hoping she wouldn't say anything to you because it wasn't that big of deal and i don't want you to worry. I guess she tried to pick him up after we left and he was upset and tried to hit her to go away. Then later he needed to go potty and both the toilets where being used and he couldn't wait and had an accident. Which is odd cause he rarely has accidents anymore but i guess he doesnt ever have to wait in line to go either. He got very upset and embarrassed and acted really ugly to her again when she tried to get him to put pants on himself. Ugh this was making me so upset because i knew how excited he was and what a good boy he can be...so not a good impression on the 1st day! She said he was great after that and had fun and played well with the other kids. At least the whole day wasn't bad :) I'm praying tomorrow will be a much better day!!

wow it would be much easier if id keep up with this more often and not have to catch up on everything..oh well. We are doing great and are blessed more than ever, they took our offer on the house and we are scheduled to close June 18th! were so very excited to get moved and decorate!! will be posting some new house pictures soon :) Here are some pictures of the lakeland tigers baseball game we went to last Saturday it was so much fun Cohen had a blast. cant go wrong with a ball game, hot dogs, bounce houses and fireworks!











Here just some fun ones from the past month...

We had some major rain for about a week straight and the creek behind my parents house flooded..ALOT. So we made sure we took full advantage of the temporary lake in the pasture ;)



Grandad told Cohen to bring his boots over so they could walk in the water. He loves his Grammy and Grandaddy...
